Restored buildings from the villages
Upper Canada Village was established as an historical theme park in the late 1950s. Restored to the period of the mid 1860s, it includes a number of buildings from the villages as well as the surrounding area. All the mills and shops are fully operational and visitors can purchase articles that were made right on the premises.
