Map 4 Robsart Vidora Senate Govenlock Hatton

Govenlock  From the former Senate townsite, drive about 11 kilometres on Hwy. 13. It is barren and stark country. However, on the left hand or south side of the highway, visitors will be able to see Govenlock's community hall. There is an access road to the hall, which also leads to a historical marker.

Hatton  Driving west on the Trans-Canada Highway, the turnoff to Hatton is about 20 kilometres from the Hwy. 21 junction leading to Maple Creek. There will be a sign on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway marking the way to Hatton. Turn north on a gravel road and drive about 10 kilometres until you reach the railroad tracks. On the immediate west side of the road, there is a pioneer cemetery. Past the tracks and about a kilometre away on the northwest side of the road, is the former townsite. The old school, now a private residence, is clearly visible.

Robsart can be found on Highway 13 in southwest Saskatchewan. It is about 80 kilometres southeast of Maple Creek, which is about 10 kilometres south of the Trans-Canada Highway. When leaving Maple Creek, take Hwy 21 South and follow the highway until you reach Highway 13. Turn east and go seven kilometres until you reach a turnoff road on your right. You will be about to see the old hospital down a kilometre the road on the right. Just past the hospital is the ghost town of Robsart.

Senate is located about 25 kilometres west of Vidora on Highway 13. However, nothing remains of the town except a commemorative marker on a bluff on the left hand side of the highway. Just before you reach the site, there is an access road. Visitors often take this road to walk around the site, which is about 100 metres from the turnoff.

Vidora is about 30 kilometres west of Robsart, past the village of Consul, at the southeastern corner of the intersection of a rural road and Highway 13. Once you turn off Highway 13, there is a house immediately on the right-hand side. This is the current post office. On the other side of the road is a fenced-off area, appearing on first glance to be a ranch. However, on closer look visitors will see a fading Main Street, ruins and derelict houses.
