BELOW  The abandoned home of Les and Mildred Wilson. It also served as a garage, gas station, and hardware store.

ABOVE LEFT  The shop and garage of Mike Covlin, husband of Anne Covlin, who was the town's last teacher and resident.

ABOVE  The school, pictured left, was removed from Crichton in 2001 and transported to a nearby bible camp. The pioneer house to the right was the home for the elevator company agent.

Brenda Lacelle Main Street
Cairn

ABOVE LEFT  Brenda Lacelle and her family are the only residents left in Crichton, which once boasted 80 families during its 73-year history.

ABOVE RIGHT  Crichton's Main Street is now mostly abandoned. A cairn honouring Crichton was erected at the highway entrance in the 1980s.
