Timeline
- 1869 - Grant Post office opens (closes in 1915)
- 1872 - Grant school is built (grades 1 - 8)
- 1880 - Railway arrives in Limoges - Casselman
- 1892 - Grant Church is built
- 1895 - land bought for "Grand Tronc" railway
- 5th October 1897 - the "Great fire" destroyed practically everything between Limoges and Casselman
- 5th October 1997 - commemorative service on the 100th anniversary of the "Great fire"
- 11th November 2000 - 1st annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Cemetery (there are four military stones)
