How to get there!
Redwater is located in Nipissing District and is accessible by train or by foot from the nearest road access.
By Train: You can leave from North Bay's Ontario Northland Railway Station (and bus depot). Get off at Redwater which is located at mileage point 55.8.
By Road and Foot: The nearest road access is via Rabbitt Creek Rd. opposite Angus Lake, off Hwy 11, north of Marten River. Drive past the second railway crossing. Beyond the crossing, nearly 3 kilometres, lies a gated road on your right. Theses are the remains of the old Rabbitt Creek ballast pit, located at mileage point 58.9. The track lies beyond the gate. Remember railways still operate in miles. Redwater is exactly a 3 mile (4.2 kilometres) walk south on the tracks to mileage point 55.8.
