How to get there!
Nemegos lies about 20 kilometres south of Chapleau In Sudbury District. From Hwy. 129 travel east on Hwy. 667. After about 1/2 kilometre turn north and drive several more kilometres to the railway crossing. Just past the railway tracks, you'll reach a dirt road. Turn left and drive about another 7 kilometres. to Nemegos. The roads are not accessible during the winter and access is limited to snowmobile.
The area was hit by a devastating forest fire in 1999 and you will see the carnage along the road. Fortunately, the fire was stopped just short of Nemegos.
Nearest centre: Chapleau. 20 kilometres.
