Donnybrook was a small crossroads hamlet located in Huron County. First established in the mid 1800s, it thrived for about 50 or 60 years.

At its height, Donnybrook played host to a popular district fair, held annually until about 1872. Donnybrook boasted a general store, woodworking shop, blacksmith and a hotel. There was also a school, Methodist church and Orange Lodge.

Donnybrook thrived until early in the 20th century. The church lasted until 1999. Today all that remains of Donnybrook is a cairn, commemorating the church and a large cemetery.
