This area map, covering Mille Roches and Maple Grove, was extracted from the Cornwall Township map that was published in Belden's Historical Atlas dated 1879.

Maple Grove along with Ernie's Hotel can be seen on the left about 2/3 the way towards the bottom.

At the top you can see both the "Old" and "New" Mille Roches with the Cornwall Canal cutting through the two sections of the town. The town's main road was severed and cut off during construction of the canal.
