Workers in 3 shaft
In No. 3 Shaft, Third Level, Ore 35 Feet Wide.

There is about 12,000 tons of broken ore on the stulls in No. 1 and No. 3 shafts, and a further 70,000 to 80,000 tons readily available. The work in progress, is to sink No. 1 shaft to 500 feet, same level as No. 3 shaft, and connect these two shafts by level at 500 feet.

The work done up to the present has been largely confined to the main vein system, through work done in No. 1 and No. 3 shafts, the greatest depth attained to only 500 feet. The ore deposits at Cordova may be safely counted upon to extend to great depth, as deep as it will be found economic to follow them.
